How We Recruit
If you think you’d like to join our choir, please contact our Chairman, Anne Lowe, on 01943 872689 or use our Contact Form to email us. We usually invite interested singers to come along to at least two rehearsals to get a feel for our choir before deciding either way. We are a merry bunch and you will be made very welcome! We are especially interested to hear from any prospective tenors and basses.
Auditions
Auditions are not held but our musical director will listen to new singers informally to establish which voice part they are best suited to, and if they will blend with the choir.
Rehearsals
We rehearse on Tuesday evenings at St Margaret’s Church in Ilkley from 7.30 to 9.30pm. Our rehearsal season starts in early September and finishes after our last concert sometime in early summer.
There is an extra rehearsal at the venue on the afternoon of every concert.
